About us

Who we are

The organisation consists of young people collectively working towards a common goal. Majority of our members met at the University of Johannesburg as students that realized common socio-economic issues and were willing to come together to address those issues. The core objective agreed upon by all is to implement change in disadvantaged communities following the socio-economic challenges that were exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization has since till thus far been carried by the student’s allowances, savings and efforts in order to ensure all projects are successful.
Taking into consideration the rapid shift in the world, it is important that the youth of South Africa as one of many developing countries are capacitated with the necessary skills to adapt to the fast growing Fourth-Industrial Revolution. This is fundamentally what we as Isiphosethu foundation seeks to accomplish by implementing programmes that will develop the social and technological skills of young people in South Africa.
The central focus of the organization is on skills development and poverty alleviation amongst other objectives to be achieved by the foundation.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution

The world is gradually shifting towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution it is crucial that youth development programmes in South Africa is inclusive of programmes that will capacitate and equip young people with the necessary skills to adapt to the growing revolution. Isiphosethu Foundation seeks to become one of the organisations that will encourage such development by being a catalyst through the programmes we run.

The organisational long term prospective is to build community centres in disadvantaged communities that will focus specifically on the development of technological skills and assist in running programmes that encourage creative thinking in a world gravitating to the 4th Industrial Revolution. This will include access to information, resources and overall productivity that will change the perspective of youth development in South Africa.
